Corona: sale of tobacco products at the old excise duty rate prolonged
Tobacco products bearing the old excise duty rate can still be sold to retailers until 1 June 2021. The old deadline of 1 March 2021 is postponed due to the Corona crisis.

Corona: the collection of tax liabilities for Customs is being restarted shortly
As a response to you and other economic operators during the course of the Corona crisis, we have hardly taken any collection measures as of 16 March 2020. We will shortly restart the collection of tax liabilities in stages. Customs takes the same line as the Tax Authorities in the process.
