Import declaration for (veterinary) pharmaceuticals has changed
Since 1 July 2024, you must submit declarations for medicines and active substances differently. You are now required to always include a document code, and, if necessary, also the authorisation or registration number. This new requirement also applies to veterinary pharmaceuticals as defined in Article 4, Section 1, of Regulation (EU) 2019/6.
The Customs Administration of the Netherlands is working on the implementation of CERTEX
In December 2022 the EU regulation establishing the European Union Single Window Environment for Customs (Regulation (EU) No 2022/2399) came into effect. This regulation aims to simplify the processing of information for non-customs formalities. This allows companies to act internationally in a quick and easy manner. Additionally it improves security within the European Union (EU), because non-customs formalities are checked in a uniform manner. EU-CSW-CERTEX (CERTEX) will be implemented during the 1st fase.
Invoeraangifte voor geneesmiddelen is veranderd
Sinds 1 juli 2024 doet u op een andere manier aangifte voor geneesmiddelen en werkzame stoffen voor geneesmiddelen. U moet nu altijd een bescheidcode vermelden. En als het nodig is ook het vergunning- of registratienummer. Dit geldt ook voor diergeneesmiddelen zoals bedoeld in artikel 4, lid 1 van Verordening (EU) 2019/6.
