Gebruik ‘Türkiye’ voor Engelstalige documenten
De Turkse regering heeft bekendgemaakt voortaan ‘Republic of Türkiye’ of ‘Türkiye’ als officiële Engelse benaming te gaan gebruiken. Deze benaming vervangt het oude ‘Republic of Turkey’ of ‘Turkey’.
Uitvoering horizontale accijnsrichtlijn vertraagd: Douane werkt aan een oplossing (update)
De Europese ‘Horizontale accijnsrichtlijn 2020’ gaat over regels voor alle accijnsgoederen en zorgt ook voor automatisering van de accijnsregistratie van het vervoer binnen Europa. De vernieuwing en uitbreiding van het Nederlandse deel van het bestaande geautomatiseerde registratiesysteem EMCS lukt niet voor de afgesproken einddatum 13 februari 2023.
Implementation of the Horizontal Excise Directive delayed: Customs is working on a solution
The EU ‘Horizontal Excise Directive 2020’ deals with regulations for all excise goods and also ensures that the registration of excise movements within Europe is automated. The renewal and expansion of the Dutch part of the already existing Excise Movement and Control System (EMCS) will not be completed by the agreed deadline of 13 February 2023.
